I would say yes in case something happens and you lose your CD or can't
use it for some reason.

Good advice Geroge which I followed. I have Roxio software and when I
tried to install it there was a error message "incompatible with this version
of windows" which is SP 2. By buying on the cheap I do have a two year
extended download but no disk. Any CD burning software compatible with
Windows XP? Yes I have two CD drives drive which can install application
software but not back up or do creative things right now. Any ideas, anyone?
And do not bother to tell me to contact Roxio since they are out of business
for quite some time. Any even if software is compatible with XP what about
SP 2?......................Gerald

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
