Hello,
I'm sorry, but that answer is just wrong! The one and only time I have
ever used System Restore, was when I removed my normal Microsoft Works
installation, and then installed a version that had been sent to me.
The new version turned out to be a special advertising infested one, so
I used System Restore to go back to the previous day, and it removed the
new version of Microsoft Works, and replaced it with the version I had
before.
So, System Restore will restore program installations if you use the
restore point that was made at the time you removed the program.
