This issue has been resolved. The file system was reporting free space
as being allocated. System Restore thought the drive had run out of
space. When such is the case, it is designed to delete all restore
points. I went to Start> Computer> right-click C: Drive> Properties>
Tools> Check Now >Scan For And Attempt Recovery Of Bad Sectors
