Computer has Windows 98. Downloaded Windows Media Player 9. Saved a few songs from some CDs. Played them back and they sounded like scratchy old vinyl records. Not good. Not desirable. It's as if it was recorded/copied with volume set too high. Sounds great playing off the CD but once saved ... horrible! Anyone know why this happened?
