At the urging of my son I have switched over to Windows 7 Beta 7.
(Keeping a clone of my xp hard-drive just in case)
So far I have been delighted.
I did have a couple of glitches.
On my Hp all in one when I went to scan, the HP scanning logo stayed up
on my screen for over an hour.
I went to bed leaving it and by morning the logo was gone and it was
ready to scan.
Since then the logo pops up and is gone in 30 secs.
Then one time the scanner locked down.
So far the only program that won't work is the software from Stamps.com.
When I go to print an envelope everything prints but the stamp. Tech
says that
right now the software won't work with 7.
But everything else is working normally or even better.
I did learn that when you install drivers, you need to use the Vista drivers
in Windows Vista compatibility mode.
All hardware is working, but then again most of it is newer hard-ware.
This motherboard just came in on Thursday. (Asrock A780GXE/128M)
Let you know if I have to switch back.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
