Hi Susan,
On the other hand, it's supposedly a bit less resource-hungry than Vista
was.
I've been running it for a couple of months now, and like it. It
lives up to "like Vista, but better".
One thing to look for is drivers; it seems that they've been pushing
to provide drivers for more devices, which means that if you didn't
originally install Windows Vista because it didn't support a device,
check again because Windows Vista and Windows 7 might now support that
device.
You really should always do a clean install if possible. I always
have a spare partition that I keep for the purpose of reinstalling
Windows into, in case my current Windows goes on a vacation.
