[pchelpers] Re: Windows 2000 guru needed

Oh I didn?t know it was only XP that had a firewall. Good to know.

I have tried IE 6, Netscape, Mozilla, IE 5, all with 128 bit encryption, and
none have worked with the bank.

Okay, so as far as programs I?ve got installed, I have very little at the
moment. In my Add/Remove list, I have Norton Antivirus 2002, IE 6 (with SP1),
Intel ethernet adapter and software, Aopen Controllerless PCI modem, NVIDIA
Windows 2000/XP display drivers, and SoundBlaster Live installed.

Also I could mention that a few moments ago, I installed a program called Easy
Office. During installation, I got a popup screen informing me that this
software, if installed on Windows NT/2000, may not install properly due to
security configurations, and if that happened then contact the systems
administrator. I didn?t have a problem installing the program but I did wonder
if internal security configurations had anything to do with my not being able
to access the bank... not the security associated with the browser, but the
Windows 2000 security settings. Just wondering.
