In pre XP, 'C' owned the computer so many settings were in 'C' or
'c:\windows', however in XP many people can 'own' the computer so all those
settings are stored under their name. It really does make a lot of things
simple once you understand that AND work with it. I find people that still
make document folders on 'c:' which can really mess things up in a crunch.
