[pchelpers] Re: Win XP favourites

In win 98se, when you opened "explorer" and you looked down the side window
under folders, under "c" then windows, you'd find a folder marked with a
star and called favourites, so I'sd simply drag and drop the favourites I
had saved in another partition over and into the folder in C - windows.
However, since I installed XP Pro, if I look in "c" windows, the only folder
beginning with F is fonts, and no favourites? However, using what PC Cowboy
said, I found that if when I was in explorer, and click "view" and then
"explorer bar" then click favourites, that left side window would open as
favourites and all I had to do then was open the saved favourites folder in
another drive and drag and drop in. same result, but a long way around. I
don't understand why I can't see a favourites folder when the folders window
is open, but there you are, I think that is why I tend to stick with what I
know.........but I figured that it was time to move on and install XP
