Eric,

I suggest the following, first move the downloaded font from Windows to
another directory/folder. Then using the backup of your registry, replace
your registry with your backup. This should correct the problem. What
version of Windows are you using? Was the site you downloaded the front from
a reliable source? It is possible that the font you downloaded was
corrupted, this can cause the problem you describe. BE very careful that you
only remove the downloaded font. IF by accident you remove a font needed by
Windows (usually indicated by a red marking), you must then reload Windows
to restore the font.

Hi Guys

I downloaded a .TTF font from the internet and copied it to the Windows =
Font file. Now when I wish to select a different font from the fonts =
dropdown menu - in either Word or Publisher - scrolling is disabled and =
I am not able to make a choice in the fonts window any more.(as =
illustrated below)
Any ideas?
If I have to reinstall windows - which method do I use to ensure that my =
drivers re left intact so that I will not have to install them again?=20
That would be a nightmare for me!!!
