In fact, one person said for them it was related to their home telephone:
"I had the same issue and after 3 routers, I narrowed the issue down to
a 2.4 GHz home telephone ringing. That is the same frequency as the
router broadcasts in. The ringing phone freezes up the whole router,
both the hard wire & wireless connections.
I switched to a 5.8 GHzphone and it works fine now. "

My suggestion would be to see if any of those comments might help, go to
the forums of the brand of router you are using and search for ones
having the same issue or post a note about it there, or contact the
maker of your router. But like I said, I'm only guessing. (Whenever I
have had wi-fi problems I have somehow managed to fix them by trial and
error and not by any knowledge that I possess, hehe.)
