Don't feel dumb...I get 'click happy' sometimes...I've done it myself.

You might get lucky if you boot to dos, choose command line, and
type in scanreg/restore

I'm pretty sure you will dates that correspond to 'the last known'
good configuration (This is from memory, not sure the exact wording)
There should be several dates, pick one the day before.

That's the only way I know of to get back at least some of what you
lost. Perhaps someone more knowledgable on this list will have a
better idea.

Let's wait for what the rest of the list thinks of my suggestion before
you do it. What I suggest may not be reversable.
