[pchelpers] Where did my messages go?

I deleted one of my Outlook Inbox folders by mistake. All my messages from
that folder are gone. Does that mean that they are really gone? They are not
in the deleted folder and they are not in the recycle bin. Where are they?
Can I somehow retrieve them?

I feel so very dumb.
