  I don't think they're worried about our confidence, as long as they have 
their hold on our business. maybe if a TJX-style breach leads to some lawsuits, 
they may feel compelled to move faster than the current glacial pace?
from what I've seen "security" is mostly an exercise in futility. it keeps 
honest & semi-honest people from stealing, but thieves just have to get sharper.
