[pchelpers] What is the function of F11?

I am using XP with the new update. I am used to my own home
page to minimize start up time with tool bars for google
search, address, favorites and other things that I have
arranged to have over the last few months...all of which
meets my desires.

But today, I was getting a page that did not have on it all
of those "goodies" referred to above. [I do remember
clicking something that suggested something as would happen
with "reset"[. This unwanted page sans tool bar and system
bar shows no more than my top tool bar, but without the
other "goodies" from the first paragraph, plus a bar that is
all about my Canon printer.

Let me state this. If I press F11, I get all that I want,
if I press F11 again, I get the limited first line tool bar
with the back,
foward, stop and then the next tool bar is all about my
Canon printer, but the two tool bars quickly disappear
leaving me with
nothing but whatever WW site I happen to be on. No tool
bars at the top, and nothing in the task bar at the bottom.

Is all of this some special function of F11 to be able to
utilize the full screen for whatever WWW site one is on?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
