[pchelpers] Re: Website Content Advice being sought

I would not spend any money to buy coding tools for a website. One
possible exception would be a good FTP program like WS_FTP Pro. As for
designing a site, it is usually a mistake to create one purely for
general interest.

To have any reasonable chance of being listed by search engines, it
needs something unique. The thing is, there are a huge number of general
interest sites with little to offer- because they are too general.
Search engines need specific things to list. They look for unique
things, ones people are likely to search for.

Think about what unique things you might be able to offer to others.
Then you have a good starting point.
