Hi, folks!
I'm setting up a computer for the young daughter (5 yrs old) of a
friend of mine, and I keep having interesting ideas.
The idea that I just had a few minutes ago was that just because she
hasn't learned to read yet doesn't mean that she can't use speech
recognition and text-to-speech to control the computer. I'd already
had the idea that speech recognition and text-to-speech could be used
to learn to read and write.
Anyway, can anyone provide links to sites that have information on
setting up computers for use by young kids?
--Scott.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
