    Well I do have one open PCI slot. I have not spent a lot of time 
trying things yet. My procedure was to hit ESC and select the CD to boot 
xubuntu. It started up and then splashed the start up screen with pages 
of the same error which indicated that an unexpected interrupt had 
occurred. Not sure where the interrupt was coming from. I could 
disconnect all the USB units plugged in which includes the backup power 
unit.  I probably should leave the DSL modem connected.
    If it does need a Linux Video Driver, would that not have to be 
installed using Linux? 

I will try to install again later this afternoon with the USB stuff 
disconnected.
