[pchelpers] Re: Watchtower On Linux

Is this a Dell, HP, or Compaq?
If any of the above the issue is not so much with the OEM as the onboard
Video Card.
We replaced the Video Cards in several systems and got Ubuntu to load
but only after we replaced the Video Card.
Just ensure that the monitor you use to install Ubuntu is the same one
you intend to use all the time.
Linux hates it when you swap monitors, it finds the new monitor but it
can be a hair raising event watching it do it.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
