[pchelpers] WTLib CD installation problem

My daughter â??s laptop is an HP Pavilion ZV5000 with XP (not on internet)


After uninstalling WTLib 2007, 2008 wouldnâ??t install either automatically or 
manually per instructions. She then tried to re-install 2007 and it wouldnâ??t 
re-install. The error message reads - â??â??please insert disc into Drive 
Dâ??â?? (disc IS in proper slot) Device Manager says the CD Rom driver is 
working properly.


Using Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs/add new program from CD Rom â?¦. Error 
message reads - â??â??Windows cannot find installation programâ??â??


Help, please, in layman terms.
