[pchelpers] Vista bug(s) make(s) Thunderbird and Firefox freeze

Looks like the easy solution may be to run CCleaner
http://www.ccleaner.com/download

"OK did everything and had no success so today was looking around and
found the temp file located in (USER)/AppData/Local/Temp had just a
shade under 14,000 files and/or 329 MB of data so I deleted all the
files except one that was in use and suddenly Thunderbird flies again.
So far it hasn't locked up and gone into the "NOT RESPONDING" mode. I'm
totally jazzed its working correctly again :D"

I've been using this new Vista laptop for about 2 weeks only, and that
folder has 826 MB of crap already...

If the above doesn't get rid of the problems, you may have to reinstall
Vista without some unnecessary junk, but i haven't found yet what that
would be:

"It took me three installs to get Vista working right on this machine.
Unfortunately, this is normal from what I've seen. Sigh. "

"I just picked up a new laptop with Vista. I'm seriously considering
putting XP or Linux on it. Having Vista on this desktop to learn it is
more than enough. ;-)"

"It seems - as Daifne mentioned before - to be the poor OEM installation
of Vista, after a clean new installation without all this silly stuff
the system is really faster, more stable and - most important, all
Mozilla Apps. run very well! "

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
