I have been using Vista Home Premium on a new Desktop for about 5 months and it is a really good system. SP1 is available for Vista, I have installed that too and it has sped the system up even further. There is another neat feature available on Vista called *"Ready Boost"*. It will use a high speed USB flash chip as an additional swap area. I have a 2 GB chip using it in that fashion. I did not even have to set it up. It immediately began to use it, along with the 2 GB internal memory it is almost like making it into 4GB of memory. The speed is incredible compared to my XP machine.
