Dear Fellow readers, I was just thinking the same thing! (About not opening things from ones you do not know...) The only times I have ever received a virus it was from someone I knew. I lost my entire PC to a virus last fall and did not even know what was wrong. Apparently, it did not go on to anyone else that was able to let me know that I had a virus and the consequences to me were pretty awful. Took the sick PC to a repair shop and they were not able to save anything for me. It seems like they could have, but by the time I found out the extent of the damage and their inability to fix things up, it was all over. A very costly and emotional time for me. I now have the latest of Norton and the Grisoft virus protection and it has picked up a couple of things for me.....sent to me by acquaintances!!! Just wanted to pass that along...
