Thanks for replying.  My CD appears to be playing.  When I 'insert' the CD 
into the 'virtual drive' - Windows Media Player pops on and the indicator 
lever begins to move across the screen (indicating the CD is playing) BUT 
there  is no sound.   ONLY when I click the individual songs in the 'detail 
view' do they actually play audibly.
