[pchelpers] Very strange

I ran into something strange today.
Windows firewall had decided to block my Mozy backup program.
So I went to add the program to the allow list when I saw a program in
the list
that I never seen before. "Spyware Protector"
I check the program files and it wasn't there, and I check the
add/remove program
list and it wasn't listed.
So I decide it was time to scan, and found some problems.
AVG won't update
ad-aware won't update
spybot won't update.
Running them with whatever update they had doesn't find a thing. (Not
even cookies)
So I tried to go to the websites to check for newer versions, and found
that I cannot
get to any anti-spyware/virus websites. Not even ones with online
scanners. Even tho I can go to any other websites.
So I tried everything in safemode.
Still nothing.
But at last I was able to reach Bit Defender online scanner.
I left work with it scanning.
In the morning I will see if it found anything.
Pc
The ability to wing-it isn't a gift.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
