Being a scam they are probably not inclined to let you go. That makes it 
unfortunate. If they have info like credit card or other financial data, 
they might even sell it (or exploit it). You may be wise to cut your 
loss and change any important things they may know of. That would also 
be in line with Paypal's reaction (limit losses as much as possible).
If you use Paypal any more, it will probably need to be with new data 
(hoping they don't block that too). Let's be twice shy about this.
