[pchelpers] Re: Unique Website Visitors

The host of my website gives statistics that include Hits - Files -
KBytes - Visits - Host Name. The Host Name is an IP number. By using ARIN
WHO IS (google this) I can see the owner of the IP number and sometimes the
business address. That is where I got the information from below. I am
transferring the Host Name and IP number to an Excel spreadsheet. Some
corporations have a range of IP number which I sometimes record on the
spreadsheet. Thought you want to know where I got the information.-Gerald

There are unique visitors to my website. I can give you my URL off list because
in the past google carried the message and stopped listing the website.

I am curious if anyone recognizes these companies, how they got my URL, and
what are they looking for?

* Intercage, Inc.
* Performance Systems International
* Internap Network Services
* Name Intelligence Inc.
* ThePlanet.com Internet Services, Inc.

I put in an ad in a local New York City newspaper under Private Computer and
Software which was a cheaper than the business rate and furthermore I told
Network Solutions I was setting up an individual website and not a business
one. If not canceled by the newspaper it should run the week after USA Memorial
Day. I hope potential advertisers see it and the website may generate a
positive instead of negative cash flow (which is small).

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
