[pchelpers] Ubuntu

FYI, with all the discussion on Linux recently, I decided to try 
installing the Ubuntu as mentioned on this list.  I have an older 
Pentium 3 Compaq.  Everything works fine if I run it from the CD, but 
when I tried installing, the system just froze at the 25% installation 
mark (no error messages, no nothing).  I wasn't surprised though.  Over 
the years, I have yet to get any version of Linux to run properly (after 
installation), and this was the second time an installation actually 
failed. I was rather disappointed as I really liked the look and feel of 
Ubuntu, and even though I can still run it from the CD, that's not 
something I want to do all the time.
