127 has nothing to do with Belkin; that's part of the USB spec.
USB hubs draw power from the wall if an adapter is plugged in. You
only need the adapter if a port needs more power than is available.
Windows will (should) tell you if more power is needed.
I agree with John, why not plug in straight?
