Most cameras nowadays use either a firewire connector (especially the
higher-end models) or a special (small) USB connector. If you can give
us the manufacturer and model, we might be able to tell you what you
need.

You have a printer that doesn't have a parallel port connector on it?
It's almost certainly USB, then. It would be unusual for you to be
getting a printer that has only a network connection.
