[pchelpers] Re: USB


well see its like this. My son bought me a cam camera and it needed ....oh
dear you know a thing in the back to install it? Its where you have to plug
it in the back of the pc. well the tech that did that for me first bought
this USB thing and it was the wrong kind. I was supposed to return it, but
forgot I had it. Now all I have is a parellel port for my printer they sent
the wrong printer so rather then send it back I want to know if this is what
I need to install to use it. So I'm going to resend the other post that
tells you what is inside my pc....that is after I clean up the mess posting
made out of it.

By the way I rather got a kick out of the fact when I said I had no sound
and my screen savor was fading out none of you guys made mention ( after I
told you it had gone into safe mode) to check the resolution which I did
thanks to George Cox, and corrected that as well as pluged the head set in
with out the speakers and found I had sound which made me realize my
speakers were history. Of course Billy Elliot told me forever ago to check
my speakers, but somehow getting someone else's to allow me to use their
speakers to check it seemed silly so I was gald I thought of this way to
check it out. Well anyway guess I'm learning. My sound and grafics are fine.
Just would like to know why there are yellow question marks next to PCI
Multimedia Device and PCI Multimedia Video Device in device manager. Oh well
sending the inerds of my pc shortly. If you could let me know about this
port thing I would appreciate it.
