Anyone know how to make the taskbar
behave on W 98 SE?
My taskbar refuses to stay put and maintain
its configuration. I'm running W98 SE on a
laptop.
Normally I set the Properties of the taskbar
so that the <auto_hides> and
<show small icon> boxes are checked. . I
then drag the taskbar to the top of my
screen.
The problem is that every time I reboot the
computer the Taskbar returns to the bottom
of the screen (as opposed to remaining at
the top where I'd placed it.)
In addition the < auto_hide> and <small_
icon> boxes are back to being unchecked.
again.
Thus each time, I'm forced to redo the whole
process again. Very annoying.
Anyone know why has my Taskbar refuses to
maintain my configurations?
TIA
Wndy

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
