[pchelpers] Re: Toshiba L45 notebook - multiple problems

First,  my  notebook  was  inactive  for  several weeks  and  I  had  to  go  
into  setup   and  correct  time  and  date.
 
Second,   I  managed  to  replace  the  AVG  pay  extra  with  nag  screens  
and  automated  demands  for  more  money  with  the  AVG  free
 
Third, AVG  free  wanted  me  to  purchase  a  product  from  one  of  its  
sponsors  (Trial Play)  and  with  some  difficulty  I  uninstalled  it.   
Prior  AVG  was  giving  messages  that  forced  removal  of  a  virus  can  
cause  OS  system   problems.
 
Fourth  installed  McAfee  with  AOL.  McAfee  removed  and  blocked  a  Trojan.
 
The  nag  screens  and  dire  warnings  are  gone  now. AVG  did  not  work  
for  me.

I  paid  AVG  about  $65  for  the  software  and  now  AVG  wants  about  
another  $45  to   activate  it.  And  constant  nag  screens  about  being  
unprotected.  I  will  try  your  link  now.
 
I  received  my  new  AC  adapter  today   which  works.  I  uninstall   AVG  
but  cannot   find  it  in  my  control  panel.  I  hope  your  link  below   
solves the  problem.

AVG is FREE for personal use if you want that version. It is the latest, 
automatically updates etc. and seems to me it is very effective. Of 
course you can be conned into buying it if you choose to do so.
