Better yet, run http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispyware.html 
because that will also fix your Internet connection, and it seems you've 
only scanned with two antispyware programs so far. Once you find 
spyware, you can be sure that some will be left if you don't run at 
least three programs.

Did you empty the Java cache as explained in the forum?

Do you remember any names? Was anything marked by Spybot as real spyware 
or was it just tracking cookies and usage tracks? I.e. were any programs 
discovered?

Did your daughter notice any funny stuff happening before the connection 
failed? Popups, slowdown, or other changed computer behavior?

Spy Sweeper is one of the better antispyware programs, but Ewido 
www.ewido.net and especially CounterSpy 
www.sunbelt-software.com/CounterSpy.cfm will find much more. Spy Sweeper 
is listed in 7th place on the page i sent you

And since your daughter picked up spyware once, there's a good chance 
it'll happen again, so for her it's not enough to have antispyware that 
"only" cleans and doesn't protect against new infections. Make sure you 
install SpywareBlaster www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html and 
SpywareGuard www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html Those are a 
minimum but they're probably not enough. If you don't want to spend 
money on an antispyware program, the only one with a free 
autoprotect/guard/real-time blocking function is Windows Defender 
www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx Spybot 
has a not very effective guard function that is very geeky and called 
TeaTimer that i would not recommend to normal users.

I'll download and install it tomorrow and see where that setting is; 
they probably moved it into a new menu and forgot to update the 
instructions. And the online help on the website is a joke.

Did you try going to the menu setting tools < reset Web settings in IE?

Firefox uses the Internet connection and settings in the control panel, 
which are the same as in IE.

What do you mean with Juno, an email program? Or is it a browser 
provided by the ISP Juno Online Services? http://www.juno.com/
