Just realised you didn't say what the main setting is on that page, 
whether to automatically check for updates or not. That's logically an 
on-off choice and so consists of adding a check mark or not.

You only said what setting you have in the radio button choice of 
whether or not to ask what to do with updates if they're found. That's 
logically an either-or choice and so doesn't consist of check marks.
