Is there any way to get Thunderbird to hold outgoing messages until I have a
stack ready to send? OE of course put them in the outbox and the mail did
get sent until I was ready. I would like to set up Thunderbird to do the
same thing if possible.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
