Well, then my little test worked :-) You see, i had this suspicion that 
they dropped the week of waiting because a lot of impatient and clueless 
newbies who didn't bother to read the Knowledge Base or FAQs complained 
about the junk filter not working. It seems the Thunderbird developers 
felt that getting a few false positives during the first week is better 
and more intuitive than nothing happening for a week.

Even though this message still/again has the word Viagra in it, it will 
probably no longer be zapped because you've taught TB that messages from 
me are OK.

You did highlight a lot of both ham and spam and mark them i hope?
Hold down Shift while using the cursor key, rightclick, mark, as junk / 
as not junk
