  yes, again, Yahoo will do that over and over and over again, cookies or
not. They have your cookie but it does not matter.  If you switch from
"mail" to "groups" for instance, you've got to put in your password again.
However, I am not sure if you check the box to "remember me" if that would
help but I do not think so.
