  yes, again, Yahoo will do that over and over and over again, cookies or not. 
They have your cookie but it does not matter.  If you switch from "mail" to 
"groups" for instance, you've got to put in your password again.  However, I am 
not sure if you check the box to "remember me" if that would help but I do not

same happens when I go to my hotmail account. I never had to do that. Every
once in a while I would be asked for my password. Now I must enter my email
address and the password every time. clicking the box "Remember name and
password" does not help.

Some program I have on my computer wipes out all cookies. I cannot find
which one it is. 

Can any one of you suggest what to look for? There are cookies I want to
keep. How can I make sure they are not eaten. My husband eats the cookies in
the freezer. Now someone eats the cookies on my computer.

Can you help me fine the thief?
