[pchelpers] Re: This is driving me insane

Hi Inge

It is always helpful to know the OS and browser you are using. Since I
don't know either I will have to assume. So if you are using XP and IE
then someone or maybe a recent update has turn off cookies. Goto the
options and look at the internet settings in your browser and make sure
cookies are set to allow. Yahoo usually needs cookies set to allow to even
load but someone may have changed the security level of your cookie
settings. The same would apply to Firefox or Opera. If they are set
correctly see if you have the following installed, Cleanup, CCleaner,
AdAware, SpySweeper. All the above are great and useful adn needed
programs however the first two will remove all cookies. If you have not
opted out of Yahoo's tracking ability then the later two and most other
Spyware removers will remove some of Yahoo's cookies because they are
tracking cookies adn considered spyware. This only applies if you did not
opt out of Yahoo's tracking plan. Yahoo sets tracking cookies on your
computer to track you areound their site, however if you opt out of this
feature they do not set tracking cookies on your computer.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
