I tried it and it blocks google for me too. On my school website it said this 
URL is available.
  We talked in a class about how many people in China don't even know what all 
is out there because they cannot get it on their computer. I am using the 
System Suite firewall, and it has a option to trace back where an attack came 
from. I talked to the instructor about that most attacks are traced back to 
China. He said the reason was partly that they cannot get to a lot of things 
the "legal" way, so many try to hack into computers located in western 
countries.
