Apparently the free version is time limited now, instead of including
ads, so that's probably not it.

Make sure that your system is fully up-to-date; go to
http://secunia.com/software_inspector and run the test. If you have
any vulnerabilities, then it could be that you got hit by one of the
web pages that I've seen mention of lately, which analyze your system
and attempt all attacks that your system might be vulnerable to.

Various popular software packages have been getting updated very
frequently lately, such as QuickTime, which has had, I think, 3
updates in the last 2-3 months. Security-related updates have come out
in July for Mozilla Firefox, Apple QuickTime, Sun Java, Adobe
Flash, and, of course, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

I feel sorry for anyone who uses Oracle database server; it seems to
be nothing but a collection of security flaws waiting to be reported.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
