I end to agree wih George; if it works again after restoring, then the
problem is probably not with the TCP/IP files but rather with the
configuration.
The usual way to replace the TCP/IP files is to simply uninstall
TCP/IP. You should have an Uninstall or Delete button. Restart the
computer, re-install TCP/IP (it's under Protocol), and it should ask
for the CD (unless the CAB files are on the hard drive already) to
reinstall RCP/IP from. Put the settings back they way that they were,
so that you can get online ok, before you try to install Max Speed
again.
