[pchelpers] Re: TCP/IP file corruption

    G. I considered that too. At the time I was working with him I was able
to access the Internet or rather Browse until we installed the feature
MaxSpeed. After installing it the Browser just could not access any web site
and would come back with some kind of a server message. At that point he
checked and said the TCP/IP files were corrupted.
I restored my system from a 11/27 back up and I again was able to access
the internet in the normal way without the feature Max Speed being on the
system. For a couple of bucks I would really like to have the upgrade.
As an aside, back a few months ago I was using a different ISP and when
I tried their Speed upgrade it also would not work. Now I do not know what
the concept is or how similar the two different programs are but it seemed
like more than a coincidence. So I figure there is something on my computer
that is not allowing that feature to work.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
