      Yes I have the latest download of Sygate. The file I downloaded today
is identical to the one I downloaded in March.
       No I do not  MS Messenger..
Taking a look at the link:
The link shows Version 4  which is similar to Version 5.5 the one I have.
The procedure for set up is the same as I mentioned in the previous message.
    I believe the problem may be related to the Cable Modem.  I have a few
things to try. So far today it is working. Will see how long it lasts and
narrow down what might be triggering a failure.

Make sure you have the latest version of Sygate. Are you using Microsoft
Messenger?
