Yup, this is a Gateway 200MHZ from about Fall, 1996. I just
fired it up on my right in order to try the MISCONFIG that Scott
suggested.
Put MISCONFIG in window after clicking RUN. That file name doesn't
show up anywhere under the STARTUP tab. Went to Windows Explorer
to do a search. This is what I see.
GWHOTKey.exe in C:\WINDOWS 69KB Application
gwhotkey.cpl in C:\WINDOWS\SYSRWM 75KB Control Panel Extension
It's great having that second computer with the screen at my right as I key
this
email. But, as I said, I can leave well enought alone, as the Gateway with
95 is
seldom used, but it is a convenience. I can just clike the OK button and the
error
message removes itself.
Thanks

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
