Yes it does seem to be a little redundant but obviously you have not 
threats on your machine.
What you would like it to tell you is that it found nothing serious and 
you can now close
the program but of course it does not say that. I also found it to be a 
little annoying
but after using it for several years it has not changed the dialog much 
with the new
updates.  It is a good program, just a little confusing to use sometimes.
