This is the kind of vigilante activity that was common in the
Wild West (and is the reason for the millions of guns still in US
homes and the fact that many more innocent people than criminals
are shot in the US) and that will be multiplying in the Internet
unless governments, lawmakers, and civil servants stop being lazy
about their responsibilities in this arena.
They are of course mainly lazy because not enough citizens
complain, about 50% are even too lazy to vote in most countries
(most of whom do not do so out of religious reasons that have to
of course be respected), and those that do vote are easily conned
into believing that nothing can or needs to be changed...
Another reason for the laziness of those primarily responsible is
of course that it will not be before really serious things go
wrong that they or the general republic will admit that Internet
security can only be resolved by real international cooperation.
This is in fact the first real international issue in the history
of mankind that will soon force governments and the general
public to approve an international authority with the power to
enforce law and order internationally.
Both the people who deride and who gag the UN (many of whom do
both) will be forced to see the antiquatedness and hopeless
stupidity of their attitude, which is directly responsible for
the hunger and death of millions of people each year...

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
