In Outlook Express....
Click on 'tools', and 'accounts'. Then click on 'mail'.
You can remove his old email there, and add new email accounts.
You can enter a hotmail account there too, as well as the one with his
new isp.
You'll have to have from them (earthlink) the details to put in for the
pop3 and smpt settings. (See properties over on the right side.) And
of course he'll add his earthlink email address and password there.
To get a feel for this Pen, open your Outlook or Outlook express, go to
tools, accounts, mail, and click on properties. Don't make any changes,
just see what you have listed in there. (You may want to write it down
while you are there too, as sometimes when you install Norton or other
programs they make changes in the properties, and you may want to change
it back.)
Hope that helps.
