I see Network Neighborhood on my old 95, but not the new XP.
I found that the "File and Transfer Settings Wizard" on the XP has good
instructions for sending the works, or selective files, from the old Windows
95 computer to the Windows XP computer, and possibly from the XP
to the 95. I haven't tried the latter yet. The former worked great.
With "File and Transfer Settings", a floppy disk is created on the XP,
taken to the 95, a few clicks and you send files and settings [whatever
settings means] directly to the XP. I would guess there is a
way to leave floppy data of the created floppy disk on the HD of the 95
so as not to have to repeat that step. I'll research it as I look forward
to the others things that you [all] tell me I can do with the Linksys cable
router interfaced between the cable modem and the two computers.
Thanks Jeremy and jsetcer, I think I missed expressing my appreciation
for your insight and help.
Everyone, have a happy thanksgiving.
Lou

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
